Fellowship training in Sports Neurology and Headache Medicine: University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

Her clinical interests include treating sports-related traumatic brain injuries, comprehensive headache management, and educating the community on head injury prevention. She also is interested in care for individuals with neurological conditions impacting their participation in athletic activities.
Dr. Woods assists in pre-season baseline neurological testing for athletes at the grade school, college, semi-professional and professional levels, and has worked alongside the Neuropsychology department at UT Southwestern with the Dallas Stars NHL team in 2022 and 2023.
Dr. Woods is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Alaska State Medical Association.
She has presented at various conferences to bring attention to traumatic brain injury recognition and care, and headache management.
When she’s not at work, Dr. Woods greatly enjoys time with her husband and dogs, whale watching, snowboarding, two-stepping, horseback riding, and fishing.
